GS1 DataBar - Are You Ready?

January 2011 is coming and manufacturers are trying to determine when to remove the UPC-A bar code from their coupons. This webinar will review timeline, review latest happenings in the coupon barcode world and answer any questions you have concerning this industry initiative.
The webinar is open to all Inmar clients.
Presenters:
Alan B. Williams is Vice President, Applications Development for Ahold USA. In this role he provides IT applications support for the Ahold USA supermarket companies: Stop&Shop, Giant of Maryland, and Giant of Pennsylvania. He serves as the Co-Chair of the Joint Industry Coupon Committee supporting the industry coupon reengineering initiative and participates in the Fresh Foods GS1 DataBar implementation standards development. Mr. Williams has presented at FMI, ACP, IBM Retail User Group, and U-Connect conferences.
Mr. Williams has spent over 35 years in supermarket food and drug retailing and has significant experience with retail applications development, technology, integration, and delivery for over 30 years. Prior to joining Ahold in 2000, Mr. Williams held various IT management roles at Albertsons, American Stores, and Jewel Companies.
Betty Lou Vontsolos is the VP of Operations for Inmar's Promotion Services group. Since 2003, Betty Lou has represented Inmar on the GS1 DataBar initiative and has been Co-Chariman of the Association of Coupon Professionals' (ACP) Coupon Re-engineering Task Force. Betty Lou is a certified GS1 US solutions consultant.
