Demonstrating once again its commitment to technology innovation, Inmar Reverse Logistics today announced that it has launched industry-first enhancements to its invoice-linkSM online invoice management tool. The company has released four major web-based technology products for pharmaceutical and consumer goods companies over the past two years.
Inmar invoice-linkSM RA functionality facilitates more timely financial reconciliation between trading partners and moves inventory through the supply chain faster—delivering significant quantifiable benefits for manufacturers and retailers alike. Results are achieved through the automation of historically labor-intensive processes that also carried high risk for discrepancies.

Vendors who use invoice-linkSM receive online notifications and reminders that alert them to invoices awaiting authorization and can provide authorization immediately online. They also can issue product disposition instructions online and access detailed tracking information. Certain vendors receive notification regarding Proofs of Destruction as well.
Inmar Reverse Logistics is the first in the industry to offer this technology. It follows the company's release in January of a portal for pharmaceutical manufacturers that provides online reconciliation capabilities with the ability to view quantity and dollar variance down to the item level and automates a wholesaler short-pay form—also an industry first.
All of the tools released are web-based and enable manufacturers and retailers to increase supply chain efficiency and significantly reduce the costs associated with product returns.
