PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Receive product 
    • Ensure product integrity and accuracy through the processing  method
    • Ensure lines are adequately staffed and managed
    • Evaluate processes, make recommendations for and implement improvements
    • Maintain accurate and timely Standard Operating Procedures
    • Measure and report department results
  2. Sort product
    • Schedule product through the sort areas to ensure cycle times are met
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the sort process
    • Evaluate processes, make recommendations for and implement improvements
    • Maintain accurate and timely Standard Operating Procedures
    • Measure and report department results
  3. Manage product
    • Manage daily residual and aged product
    • Coordinate storage and ensure cycle time commitments are met
    • Maintain accurate and timely Standard Operating Procedures
    • Measure and report department results
  4. Lead staff
    • Schedule staff to ensure proper coverage, job completion, and efficient utilization
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports
    • Recruit, interview, select, hire, and train associates
    • Maintain associate documentation and validate weekly hours
    • Facilitate regular departmental safety meetings
    • Ensure cleanliness and safety of production areas
  5. Complete administrative duties in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required Ability to:

  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.  Bilingual language skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple projects from conception to completion.
  • Respond to client requests while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
  • Consistent focus on achieving deadlines.
  • Represent ideas clearly and concisely to management, clients, and internal associates and departments.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with Inmar personnel and partners.
  • Represent Inmar in a professional manner to clients, manufacturers, vendors, and the community.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks requiring extensive follow-up in a timely manner.
  • Groom and dress appropriately for the environment.
  • Attend work on a regular basis and be available to work extended hours including Saturdays on short notice.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE

  • At least five years of supervisory experience in a logistics, production, or operations environment leading 20+ associates.
  • Knowledge of WMS, inventory control, shipping procedures of both Hazardous and Non-hazardous materials, and OSHA requirements is beneficial.  
  • Intermediate computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or the equivalent combination of education and experience needed to complete the requirements of the position.
