POSITION SUMMARY


Operate with independence and objectivity while leading efforts to develop and implement Quality Management Systems throughout Reverse Logistics Operations.  Design and administer programs, policies, and procedures according to Company and client specifications to ensure quality objectives are achieved. Develop and maintain tools, metrics, and reporting to monitor compliance quality standards.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance programs, policies, and procedures according to client and Company specificiations.
  • Develop tools and processes to evaluate, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of Quality initiatives.  
  • Function as a communications link between Operations Management and client for Quality Assurance initiatives.
  • Communicate all Quality issues to Management.
  • Support Operations Management in executing quality programs, achieving continuous improvement objectives, and resolving quality issues.
  • Support Operations and cross-functional teams in developing quality programs and metrics for new business implementations.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor metrics and reports to ensure accurate data and information is reported in a timely and professional manner and quality objectives are met.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Support a safe work environment by following safety rules and regulations and reporting all safety hazards.
     

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field;  six (6) years of experience in a logistics and/or quality environment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities.
  • Computer literacy with intermediate MS Office skills specifically in Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language
  • Proven ability to multi-task with detail orientation and organizational skills
  • Must possess interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel overnight 35% of the year
  • Ability to work with hazardous waste
